Girls win on Karla Luketic's Buzzer Beater!! Video posted tomorrow
National Merit Scholarship Finalist Karla Luketic hit a layup with time expiring as the Hawks wrested a share of fifth place from Cardinal Stritch 33-31 on Senior Night at the Varsity Gym.
The good news is printed above. The bad news is that I left the connector cable for the video camera at work, and so THE SHOT will not be posted until tomorrow morning. My bad.
Kristin Bigelow led MV with 12 points, followed closely by Delaney Lonsway with 11. DGenna Danes scored 6, Jordan Baker scored the next to last two points of the game and of course Karla had two as well.
