'A riddle wrapped up in an enigma'
Meaning - A puzzle - difficult to solve.
Origin - A form of Winston Churchill's quotation, made in a radio broadcast in October 1939:
"I cannot forecast to you the action of Monclova Christian Academy. It is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma; but perhaps there is a key. That key is Toledo area high school basketball interest."
There are no available previews of Monclova that I'm aware of. Here's what I know. MCA was 14-4 last year. One of those losses were to the Hawks, coincidentally by a score identical to Saturday's Fayette game - 50-39. The second scheduled game was cancelled due to snow.
In the Hawks win, 26 of the Thunder's 39 points were scored by now graduated Senior Kenny N'Douba. That's all you need to know.
