There's not much out there about our opponents tomorrow - The Monclova Christian Thunder.
Monclova plays as a Division IV independent. They belong to the Ohio Christian School Athletic Association. The Thunder made it to the finals of the 09-10 OCSAA tournament, where they beat fellow TAAC member Emmanuel Christian 75-49. Julius Turner played for EC last year.
The Thunder's best player is forward Kenny N'Douba. Kenny is another Great Lakes AAU player, so he's well known to Rick, Jared, Jonathan and AJ.
Monclova's biggest loss to graduation was high scoring guard Jordan McCloud; he and N'Douba were a formidable 1-2 punch.
Monclova was defeated in its home opener last weekend by Emmanuel, 57-48.
Last year, Maumee Valley won both games against MCA, 53-42 at home, and 63-50 at the Thunderdome.
